The Waik\u012bk\u012b Aquarium is more than just a place to see beautiful marine life \u2014 it\u2019s a piece of history. Opened in 1904, it\u2019s the second oldest public aquarium in the United States. Since the aquarium is just a short walk from most Waik\u012bk\u012b hotels, you won\u2019t need to stress about transportation. If you’re driving, there is a small lot in front of the aquarium, as well as metered parking available outside the entrance on Kal\u0101kaua<\/a> Avenue and around Kapi\u02bbolani Park. It usually isn\u2019t too tough to find a spot, especially in the morning. Try arriving right when they open at 9 a.m. to beat the crowds.<\/p>\n
